Sensory Storytime is a welcoming interactive environment deigned for sensory seeking children with autism or other sensory integration challenges. 

Every Thursday from 4:15-5pm come and sharpen your reading skills. This group is for Pre-k to 5th grade.

Gather around and enjoy a good story followed by a crafting activity. 

Bring the family to storytime to explore stories and facts, shake your sillies out, sing and rhyme together, and more! 

This storytime occurs on Mondays at 11:00 a.m.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to learn about Bird migration from the National Fish & Wildlife Service.  Jennalyn Speer will tell us all about birds' flight as they head to their winter home.  Stay to decorate a bird feeder.

Come join us a certified yoga instructor for a fun yoga class for kids! Participants will receive and introduction to yoga and its benefits, a warm up game, a physical activity, crafts, and then cool down and relax.

Does your little one love music?  Join us for our Move and Groove playtime!  We will sing, dance and make music.  Ages 2-7.

Grab a mat and join us at Hollywood as we discover a fun way to de-stress and stay active! We'll explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques as we find balance!

Join us for Hispanic Heritage Month and discover the history of piñatas and why they are important in celebrations! You’ll get to explore colorful piñata stories and decorate and fill your own piñata!

East Shelby Branch Library's 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat will be Saturday, Oct. 5th, from 2-4pm. We'll pass out candy, have food trunks and lots of fun! Everyone is welcome to come in costume, but it's not a requirement.

Get into the fall spirit with our Pumpkin Papercraft Party! Join us for an afternoon of creativity as we craft beautiful and festive paper pumpkins.

Join us for an hour of building, creating, and making new friends! 

Do you love reading? Do you love dogs? Join us and experience both by reading a book to Lovie, the library therapy dog! Lovie loves books, so please join us and have fun reading to Lovie.

Join us at the East Shelby Library for a movie day every other Saturday from 3-5 PM. What adventures will you experience that day? You'll have to come see the movie to find out!

Kids can come to their Randolph Branch Library after school on Mondays and utilize their creativity with craft making!

Help us decorate the library for Halloween! Kids 3 and up will each be given a paper bat to decorate with a variety of materials, and each bat will be hung up in the library.

Get ready for a crafty Halloween with a Spooky Book Garland Craft! Join us to transform recycled books into spooky and fun garland decorations featuring creepy-cute ghosts, bats, pumpkins, and more.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.
