Learners 65+ are invited to register for this Creative Aging Studio Course at Cossitt Library! Participants work with artist Debbie Lovett to learn basic clay skills to create original jewelry with simple and found materials.

Join us for a preschool story time for children ages 2-5! We'll share books, songs, a craft, and more each week! No registration necessary.

Participants will discuss concepts and sketch ideas with teaching artist Sarah Nowlin for an original sculpture creation. The sculptures are created with cardboard, foil, wire, masking tape, paper, and various other materials.

Teens Turn Up Fridays is time for our teens to express themselves through music, arts, and crafts.

May is National Pets Month.  Come to the Cordova Branch Library to celebrate your pet!  Share stories and snacks.  Draw a picture of your pet (or the pet you'd like to have), and then decorate a frame to put your drawing in.

Family storytimes are a great opportunity for children and caretakers to come together, hear stories, sing songs, and work together on crafts or other activities. Pets can be some of our best friends.

Please join us Saturday afternoons for children's craft time at Cossitt Library. We will have a guided craft, but also will provide supplies for artistic free play. Come get crafty with us!

The Frayser Branch library presents a Spring Art Workshop for Children.

If you've ever wanted to join a guild or informal crocheting group but don't know where to look, then you've come to the right place. Beginners or advance crocheters are welcome to share their ideas and the fun. 

Teens are invited to hang out and create art
with friends. As we bring out the inner artist
and paint the day away. There will be food,
games, activities, and lots of FUN. The Best
Art work wins a prize.

Enjoy stories, songs, and fun as children ages 3-5 are introduced to the joy-filled world of children’s books. Groups must pre-register.

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.
