Come join us at the East Shelby Library Branch to work on your current knitting or crochet project with fellow artists in the Memphis area! Make connections with and learn new tricks and tips from other local artists. 

Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to Randolph Library for stories, songs, rhymes and a craft!

Kids can come to their Randolph Branch Library after school on Mondays and utilize their creativity with craft making!

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.

Ever wanted to learn how to read Binary Code? How about making your own lanyard or keychain in binary? Come join us and learn all about how to make your very own binary code lanyard. 

Express yourself! Every Wednesday from January to May local artist and founder of Color Your Story Onto Mine nonprofit, Violet Newborn, will be hosting a series of social artistry workshops for Memphis youth at the Orange Mound Library.

Children will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! Each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and a craft!

Stop by the library to pick up a grab-n-go cultural kit! This kit explores the Japanese holiday Setsubun which occurs on February 2nd, 2025.

Learners ages 65+ are invited to join Creative Aging teaching artist Carol Buchman for a 5-week journey into the works of prominent Harlem Renaissance artists, including William H. Johnson, Romare Bearden, and Faith Ringgold.
