Join us on Saturday at the Frayser branch library to view a movie for all the family to enjoy!  Refreshments will be served.  Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Join teaching artist Phyllis Boger for this 2-part introduction to silk painting. Learn various techniques and methods for working with the dyes, brushes, and mounting the silk. Participants will create an original piece from their own design.

At Frayser, a pre-school story time is a great way to encourage a love of reading in children.  We share books, songs and a related art activity.  Parents, please mark this program on your calendar!  

Children ages 6-8 will have the opportunity to learn about parts of a pumpkin, then engage in several pumpkin science activities.  Participants must accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Looking for a cozy, no-pressure way to enjoy reading and connect with others? Welcome to The Silent Chapter, our unique book club where the only sound you'll hear is the turning of pages. 

Come join the new Crochet Group at Frayser Library. It’s a relaxed place to hang out, get help with projects, and swap yarn with others who love to crochet or knit. Everyone is welcome no matter your skill level.

Branching Out: Discover Gardening at the Library

A winter garden doesn't have to be a barren landscape. 

This program is just for tweens.  They get a chance to make a paper bag collage journal.  Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Get into the holiday spirit at the Deck the Halls: Wreath Making Workshop! Join Priscilla Gilliam of UT/TSU Extension for a fun, hands-on session where you'll create a beautiful, custom wreath using provided supplies and step-by-step guidance.
