Spend your fall break at the Orange Mound Library. Today is Game Day! Drop in from 12pm-2pm for an afternoon of hanging out and playing video games, board games, and card games!  Snacks will be provided. 

What looks like a normal rock may actually be a geode with crystals like quartz hiding inside. Learn about the amazing science of geode crystals and try your hand at breaking open a rock to see what you find!

Kids can come to their Randolph Branch Library after school on Mondays and utilize their creativity with craft making!

Gather around and enjoy a good story followed by a crafting activity. 

Today is Art Explosion! Today we will make buttons, create magnets and decorate tote bags! Don't forget to bring a cotton black t-shirt to decorate with reverse tie dye!  Drop in from 12pm-2pm for an afternoon of art!

Stop by for a look into the history of crayons and a sneak peek into the process they go through to before they make it onto the store shelf. Design your own multi-colored crayon using recycled pieces of crayons! 

Connect Crew will be hosting a family storytime event at the Memphis Zoo! The storytime and animal meet & greet program will be held at the Wild Encounter location. The storytime event will occur during the zoo's Free TN Tuesday hours.

Today we will be creating dioramas. Choose a scene from your favorite book, movie or your imagination and create a replica of it in a shoebox! We will provide all of the supplies you need.

How do robots work? Well, stop by the South Branch to find out and make your own bristlebot! Use steps from the scientific method to test your robot to see if you can make it move in different ways using other components. 

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Jasmen Ansh with the Tennessee State University SNAP-Ed Extension Program will be on hand to share with children the benefits of healthy eating and guide them in cooking a Hispanic culinary recip

Today is Tiny Food Day! We will spend the day baking and cooking tiny foods-chicken and waffles, tiny pizzas, tiny tacos, and lots of desserts! At the end of the day we will eat and enjoy all of our creations.
