Let's celebrate love with an afternoon craft! 

Children will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! With a focus on early literacy skills, each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, songs/rhymes, and a craft!

Come join us for storytime for caregivers and babies up to 18 months old. We will read stories, sing songs, and give the caregivers the opportunity to connect with each other.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

West Tennessee Therapy Dogs will be bringing one of their licensed therapy dogs for kids to practice reading aloud to and of course, get to pet and play with!

Do you love reading AND doggies? Come and read to a sweet, friendly pup and practice your reading skills! Join us every third Saturday at the Central Library in the Children's story time room from 11 - 1pm.
