Come to the Cordova Branch Library for an International Storytime celebrating the country and culture of the Philippines.  Share stories and snacks.  Create a Philippine art masterpiece to take home.

Tweens, join us in a page turning of new and exciting books just for you!

Join us at the East Shelby Library for a movie day every other Saturday from 3-5 PM. What adventures will you experience that day? You'll have to come see the movie to find out!

Come and view the award-winning eight-part docu-series "High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America." We will then sample cuisines mentioned in the film. Every Monday in June and July.

Let's make a keychain! Join us at the library as we learn about the science of shrink plastic and all that you can do with it. 

Kids age 6-12 can come and read to our sweet reading therapy dog, Lovie. Books will be available for children to read, or they may bring their own.

The night sky is full of constellations, or images made of the stars, that have helped people share stories and find their way at night. In this activity, we'll be making constellation jars that shine light through our own night skies.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to meet local children's author Becky Thomas.  Listen to her read her new book.  Then stay for crafts and snacks.  For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

We provide the Lego bricks and you make the creations. Come get your build on!
