Come to the Cordova Branch Library for a summer gardening class for kids.  The Cordova Garden Club will bring lots of information and activities for kid of all ages.

Adu! Come to International Storytime to hear Nyale Pieh, Children's Librarian at the Orange Mound branch, perform a storytime that honors her ancestral country, Sierra Leone.

Following step-by-step instructions, children will learn how to make handmade paper!  Local artist Katey Henriksen Gardner will be on hand to share her skills with participants in this fun and awesome workshop.

Families are invited to join us at Your Randolph Branch Library for an International Storytime featuring The Philippines! We will celebrate the country and culture with stories, snacks, and a craft!

Summer is the perfect time for parents to keep their little learners, learning. During our story time, we will share books that are perfect for summer reading along with a related art activity. Please mark this program on your calendar!

Kids will explore their imaginations and practice motor skills while decorating masks.

All Pre-K Projects will also include a read-aloud story related to the project.  

Please join us for a special program with The Dixon's Art to Grow Program! 

Participants ages 8-12 are invited to learn about art then create their own masterpiece to take home. 

An hour full of crafts and games at the Cherokee Library.  A different activity will be presented each week.  Registration recommended, but not required.

Healthy Cooking Matters For Children is a four-session series designed to provide hands-on learning experiences through recipe preparation and encourage positive behavior change among youth participants. 

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to paint your own t-shirt.  Please bring your own t-shirt, we'll have the paint, the brushes and more.

For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.
