This 4-part series, Africa in the City, is designed to teach members in the Memphis community about the history and culture of various communities in Africa.

 If you are looking for a place to hang out with old friends, make new friends, get rid of stress, and being a part of a team, you are encouraged to participate in game activities at the North Library.

Fort boards are plastic panels you can use to build a multitude of things! Towers, cars, castles, playhouses.  Come learn to build with them!

Teens are invited to try a different Board Game every two weeks at South.  Card games, Dungeon Crawlers, Deck Builders, Strategy versus all-out chaos - it’s all on the table at Board game Buffet.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Like to play Mah Jong but need friends to play with?  Our Club might be for you. It is for those who have played some, know the suits, the flow of play, and how to use an American Mah Jong Card. There is no teacher. We just play.

Join us for a fun, high-energy dinosaur-themed parachute play session! Through dinosaur-inspired movements—like flying like a pterodactyl, stomping like a T.

Join us at the library to play a childhood favorite - Mancala! New to the game or a little out of practice? No worries, we will provide an overview on the ways to play!
