A book club for anyone who gets their book recommendations specifically online - Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, wherever.

This November, the Heart and Soul Book Club explores the strength of the female spirit in times of crisis. Join us for a deep-dive discussion into two of the year’s most talked-about novels:

The Crenshaw "Color My World Coloring Club is designed to to allow attendees to sit, relax and color in a "Quiet Coloring Zone" or an "Ok - to Chit - Chat Coloring Zone". Crayons, markers, coloring pencils and coloring sheets will be provided.

Preschoolers will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! Each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and more!

Join us for a fun-filled story time, for ages 0-2.

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.

Come join us for storytime for caregivers and babies up to 18 months old. We will read stories, sing songs, and give the caregivers the opportunity to connect with each other. 

No groups please.

Memphis Public Libraries provides free notary services to the public during drop-in hours: WEDNESDAYS from Noon – 2 PM at the Cornelia Crenshaw Branch Library.

Teens are invited to try a different Board Game every two weeks at South.  Card games, Dungeon Crawlers, Deck Builders, Strategy versus all-out chaos - it’s all on the table at Board game Buffet.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Toddlers will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! With a focus on early literacy skills, each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and more.
