Hey kids, Have you always wanted a pet but not the work and responsibility? A Pet Rock may be just what you need! We will paint and decorate a Pet Rock to take home! Each rock comes with the ability to "Sit & Stay!"

Dig into prehistoric creativity! Kids will learn about ancient fossils and create their own ammonite or nature fossils to take home. This hands-on program blends science, art, imagination, for a fun and engaging experience. 

Fiber arts creators come together and work on your current project!

Preschoolers will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! Each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and more!

Discover the ancient art of mosaic — and make something totally your own!

If you want to experience science, art, and color in one siting, so join us for a psychedelic time! Please bring at least one item you would like to tie dye. There will be a few items available, but they are limited.

Discover the fascinating world of prehistoric preservation through this creative, hands-on art program! Participants will learn how ancient plants and animals were preserved in amber and why these fossils are important to scientists today.

Kids can come to Randolph and channel their inner paleontologist with Pasta Paleontology! Participants will draw/paint a background, then construct a dinosaur skeleton with different shapes of dried pasta.

Stop by the South Branch on the 2nd Monday of each month for a special painting project! We'll try out different painting materials and techniques to make great pieces of art!

Patrons will come to the branch and participate in an art event by painting wreaths. This event is meant to foster the creativity of the those who participate. Library staff will provide the wreaths and the paint for the patrons.

Rawr! Join us for a prehistoric crafting adventure where young paleontologists can make their very own spiky dinosaur headbands to take home! All supplies provided. Event is open to the first 30 participants.
