The Intro to Photography Basics Program is perfect for any teen that has an interest in learning how to use a camera to take great pictures. Teens do not need to bring a camera as we provide all gear for the course.

Join us every Monday, 4-6pm! This is a loosely structured club for adults of all ages and experience levels, mainly focused around spending time putting words to paper, and sharing and providing feedback with other club members.

Join our weekly Zumba fitness class. It's an excellent workout that will allow you to burn calories while having fun. It will also strengthen your muscles and improve flexibility. Please plan to be on time.

Join us for a fun aerobics exercise with Ms. Linda Epps. It's a great way to enjoy exercising while allowing you to stretch and improve flexibility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness. 

A beginning Spanish class designed for students that have no familiarity with the language. Registration not necessary and we can start you with our beginners group and work you up to our advanced group.

Adults, you can learn English as your 2nd language!

Join HopeWorks teachers every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 AM-1 PM at the East Shelby Library.

No matter your primary language, you are welcome to join.

Calling all rock-hounds! Crack open the secrets of stones that were around when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Test, scratch, and examine real rocks and minerals to uncover what they're made of - just like a real geologist!

Hosted by the Memphis Fair Housing Center, a division of Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc., this FREE legal clinic provides an opportunity for individuals to learn more about their housing rights. Attorneys from Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc.

Open video lab is a time for teens to explore the space and to experiment with cameras, lights, microphones, backdrops, and editing software. A video lab instructor will be on hand to offer guidance and assistance to teens when needed.

Teens are invited to try a different Board Game every two weeks at South.  Card games, Dungeon Crawlers, Deck Builders, Strategy versus all-out chaos - it’s all on the table at Board game Buffet.
