The Sisters of MUI will host a Free Sewing Class. You will learn the basics of sewing.

If you've ever wanted to join a guild or informal crocheting group but don't know where to start, then you've come to the right place. Beginners and advance crocheters are welcome to share ideas and join the fun.

We are excited to host this book club, led by local author Andrea Hardaway! Books are chosen each month by attendees. All genres are welcome, but this group loves nonfiction, inspirational, and must-read books by contemporary black authors.

Join us every Saturday to practice reading/speaking English and building new vocabulary in a casual friendly environment. Each attendee is welcome to read aloud a page from the suggested book.

Conversation and Crafts is a welcoming, hands-on program that brings people together through creative crafting and meaningful conversation.

Join us for I Read That Movie @ the Library, our monthly page-to-screen book club. Read the selected book, then attend a screening of its film adaptation followed by a lively discussion.

Would you like to improve your writing skills while working in a collaborative environment with other writers?

Children will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! With a focus on early literacy skills, each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, songs/rhymes, and a craft!

The Crenshaw "Color My World Coloring Club is designed to to allow attendees to sit, relax and color in a "Quiet Coloring Zone" or an "Ok - to Chit - Chat Coloring Zone". Crayons, markers, coloring pencils and coloring sheets will be provided.

Joseph Oliver and a variety of skilled professionals conduct weekly classes with customers participating in hands-on repair and learning exercises.

AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
