Join us in the Green Space behind the Orange Mound Library! Relax, touch some grass, and a book too. Outdoor furniture will be provided but feel free to bring your own. 

Come join us for comic books and good company! We’ll have a wide selection of comics, generously donated by 901Comics, for you to enjoy.

Join us at the East Shelby Branch Library for some classic Chess fun! Play Chess with people in your community and learn some new strategies while you're at it. This club will be part educational and tons of practice!

Join us for a fun and creative celebration of Juneteenth! Enjoy a relaxed, fun atmosphere with music, snacks, and all   painting supplies provided.

Dive into the realm of sci-fi and explore the vast reaches of time and space going wherever your imagination can take you! Robots, aliens, spaceships and apocalyptic futures! The possibilities are endless! New to the sci-fi genre?

Joseph Oliver and a variety of skilled professionals conduct weekly classes with customers participating in hands-on repair and learning exercises. Participants will be exposed to the basics of electricity and electronics theory and repair.

Casting call to all teens, 13-18!

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.

A beginning Spanish class designed for students that have no familiarity with the language. Registration not necessary and we can start you with our beginners group and work you up to our advanced group.

This camp runs from Monday-Friday.

🎨 Spray Squad: Graffiti for Beginners 🎨

Come join us as we paint our very own masterpieces... but in the dark! 

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Enjoy a fun and interactive story time where books come to life through music! This special session combines singing, movement, and storytelling to engage young children and their caregivers in a joyful, musical experience.

Want to learn how to play D&D? Join us every Wednesday in June & July in the Teen Loft as an experienced DM will lead a quest designed for beginners (though teens with all experience levels are welcome to join).
