As Thinking Money Week continues we will have a special crafternoon that will explore themes of personal finance in ways that children can relate.

Each child will receive a pottery piggy bank that they may paint to their liking.

What's a better way to solve food scarcity than growing your own garden? Having your own garden has always made sense for so many reasons.

Learn to crochet and make your very own beanie in this 5-week program, guided by MPL’s Caitlin Prilliman. By the end of the summer, you’ll have the skills to create a stylish beanie from start to finish! Open to all skill levels.

Children are introduced to the art of sewing by making their own stuffed "Wombat."  This fun and easy project is designed for first time sewers, helping them to learn basic hand stiches while expressing their creativity.

Everything is better with bubbles...AND BOOKS!! Come and join us as we blow bubbles and read good books. 

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to learn to crochet!  Staff member Kellea will teach all kids, tweens and teens how to do easy crochet stitches and projects.  Yarn and needles provided.

Using the book Swap! for inspiration, we're going to learn about bartering by having a swap meet.

Calling all gamers! Flex your skills and go head-to-head with other gamers at Raleigh's Nintendo Switch Game Night. We'll have the classics if you're feeling nostalgic, as well as some newer fan favorites.

Get creative and add some color to your wardrobe! Join us for a fun tie-dye session at the library. We'll provide all the dye supplies— you just bring a plain 100% cotton T-shirt (white or light-colored works best).
