For Thinking Money week we will have a special afternoon story time featuring story and play to explore themes like saving, giving, earning and other aspects of money and value.

Join us for a fun, hands-on Corner Bookmark Workshop! Participants will learn how to fold and decorate their own origami-style corner bookmarks—perfect for marking your spot in your favorite summer reads.

Let's learn about symmetry! This art project will allow kids to paint and see how symmetry works when items show up in the same spot on both sides of a fold. 

We encourage our small customers to come to the Levi Library and test their skills in our Kids' Version of Bingo!

In this workshop, children ages 6-12 will participate in collage art, where they experiment with materials such as magazine paper, newspaper, construction paper, fabric, and beads to create art based on themes.

Connect Crew will be hosting a family storytime event at the Memphis Zoo! The storytime and animal meet and greet program will be held at the Wild Encounter location. The storytime event will occur during the zoo's Free TN Tuesday hours.

For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Children will experience the chance to make a 3D hand drawing.

Join us at the Officer Geoffrey Redd Library for a special arts & crafts presentation presented by the Dixon Gallery & Gardens. Come create a flower just like the flowers at the Dixon. All supplies provided.

As Thinking Money Week continues we will have a special crafternoon that will explore themes of personal finance in ways that children can relate.

Each child will receive a pottery piggy bank that they may paint to their liking.
