Children will have the opportunity to read with others to increase literacy.  The children will be using the concept of DiscoverRead and work with some of the components of reading, writing, talking, singing and playing.

Instructor: Douglas Pratt will host a session on how to turn your passion for writing into an ongoing career. You will learn how to network, get published and take advantage of writing opportunities.

This five day teen program is designed to explore various topics of what makes communities and cultures unique, including religion, race, culture, politics, social class, gender and more.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to learn to crochet!  Staff member Kellea will teach all kids, tweens and teens how to do easy crochet stitches and projects.  Yarn and needles provided.
