Children will have the opportunity to read with others to increase literacy.  The children will be using the concept of DiscoverRead and work with some of the components of reading, writing, talking, singing and playing.

Please join us for a special program with The Dixon's Art to Grow Program! 

Participants ages 8-12 are invited to learn about art then create their own masterpiece to take home. 

An hour full of crafts and games at the Cherokee Library.  A different activity will be presented each week.  Registration recommended, but not required.

Healthy Cooking Matters For Children is a four-session series designed to provide hands-on learning experiences through recipe preparation and encourage positive behavior change among youth participants. 

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to paint your own t-shirt.  Please bring your own t-shirt, we'll have the paint, the brushes and more.

For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.
