Kick off the summer with the Dixon Gallery and Gardens! In this session, participants will create a scraped painting inspired by local artist Amy Hutcheson. Ages 5-12
If you shake your head, stomp, or pat your feet, clap your hands, or move your body in some fashion to a beat in a favorite song, you have rhythm and this program is for you.

Start your summer adventures by making your own adventure pack and compass. The adventure pack can be used to store all the cool things you find on your adventures, and the compass will help you to know what direction you're going.
Join us for a fun-filled event. Come and meet a park ranger from Meeman-Shelby Forest park and some cool forest animals!

If your children like blowing bubbles, this fun activity provides them with the opportunity to make their own bubble solution and handmade wands. Please note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Connect Crew will be hosting a family storytime event at the Memphis Zoo! The storytime and animal meet & greet program will be held at the Wild Encounter location. The storytime event will occur during the zoo's Free TN Tuesday hours.
Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Sand Art! Create a Sand Art masterpiece to take home, made with 10 colors of sand! Share stories and snacks. For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.
Trivia Masters and Fun Fact Collectors, now is your time to shine! Join us at the Raleigh Library for a classic household favorite with a modern twist: Wheel of Fortune!
Would you like to read a book to a dog? Join Lovie, the Library Therapy Dog, and we will read a good book together.
Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Join us Tuesday evenings at the beginning of June for 'open play' pickleball on our three courts here at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library parking lot! We have balls and paddles for folks to use, or feel free to bring your own.
