Come join us for story time appropriate for the youngest children! No groups please.

Come and join us for a super cool story time! 

Children will have the opportunity to read with others to increase literacy.  The children will be using the concept of DiscoverRead and work with some of the components of reading, writing, talking, singing and playing.

Join us for an engaging event where kids become pet owners for a day! Learn about the responsibilities, costs, and love involved in caring for a pet. Discover why pets are lifelong commitments and valuable members of our families. 

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Baby Storytime.  Share stories and songs and bubbles.

No registration is needed.

Join us for a special program with Dixon Gallery and Gardens! Participants are invited to learn about art then create their own masterpiece to take home.

Explore different textures with this art project where we'll use sandpaper instead of paper as our medium.

All Pre-K Projects will also include a read-aloud story related to the project.  

Have you ever wanted to be a potioneer? Come join us and create your very own potion bottle. 

Connect Crew will be hosting a family storytime event at the Memphis Zoo! The storytime and animal meet and greet program will be held at the Wild Encounter location. The storytime event will occur during the zoo's Free TN Tuesday hours.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for a puppet show.  The Kids on the Block will be presenting a fun and educational show.  Then we'll make our own puppets to take home.

For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.
